The Space Coast Sailing Education Foundation (SCSEF) offers several opportunities for youth, from ages 8 to 18 to get on the water.
Our goal is to teach you to sail safely and effectively so that you can enjoy the world of sailing! We have learn to sail classes, competitive teams for those that want to participate in regattas, and summer camps.
COMPETITIVE SAILING
SCSEF has an elite 420 program for competitive 420 sailors, using both the C420 and i420 sailboats. There is also a Middle School/High School Developmental C420 program for sailors looking to grow their skills.
LEARN TO SAIL CLASSES
SCSEF is pleased to offer year-around opportunities for youth to learn to sail.
We offer Opti sailing classes for younger sailors who are just starting out, as well as Opti classes for young sailors who want to learn to race.
Middle/High school aged youth who are just starting out should join the Middle/High School Sailing Group (found under Competitive Sailing).
